In the painting Flower still life with a watch by Willem van Aelst(1627 – 1683) you can find this magnificent pink butterfly if you look closely! Because I found it so special I painted it on this ringbox. The inside of the ringbox is lined with pink velvet. It’s hand painted with acrylics and finished off with lacquer.
